About Our Team

Managing Director, Trevor Steyne established Surrey Hills Design and Build Limited, after working in carpentry and construction for more than 30 years. Trevor began his career training as an apprentice in cabinet making and fine arts restoration for Michael Hedgecoe Antique Restoration in Chobham, Surrey.

After six years, Trevor decided to spread his wings to qualify as a carpenter, with a focus on complex roofing work. Here he acquired a meticulous attention to detail, which he has applied to a wide range of building projects, such as home extensions in Guildford and loft conversions in Godalming and the surrounding Surrey and Sussex areas.

Since then, Trevor has cultivated relationships with professionals in other areas of the construction industry. This has allowed our recommended builders to collaborate closely with a variety of reliable, highly skilled and enthusiastic tradespeople.
